Use of iPads/iPods laptops….

You may be asked to bring these to class – they are, after all, superb tools to support effective learning –

BUT

– you must only ever use them when permitted/instructed to do so: otherwise they remain closed and OFF. 

Just as with mobile phones: surfing the web, pinging chat messages and  looking at your email is NOT under any circumstances acceptable: it insults the teacher (and the rest of the class), effectively saying: 'I am not interested in the slightest in the class, in my colleagues or in learning anything and have decided to do something else for my amusement'.

Well, this 'something else' you will be invited to do by amusing yourself outside the classroom.
