JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

[yet more of the above]

Based upon the above, you will then be asked to:

  1. research online for a job in the English-speaking world which you would like to do at the end of this course.  It MUST have Job Description and Person Specification details.  THEN:
  2. carefully design a full two page cv in English which is closely based upon the company's requirements as idenified in the job Description and Person Specification
  3. write a covering letter.
  4. couble-check that both documents are as perfect they could possibly be in terms of presentation, English (grammar, punctuation, spelling etc) and employer expectations.

INTERVIEWS AND INTERVIEWING

AWKWARD QUESTIONS

After this you will be partnered with a colleague:

  • he/she will interview you for the post in question
  • you will then interview him/her for the post
  • Another team of two will be tasked with listening to you and giving feedback upon interviewer / interviewee performance.
