L1/T2. Culture and management

cultureOK, so we have a definition of ‘culture’ as we understand it, but we still have not answered the question as to how culture ‘matters’ to management…..

Perhaps the first thing we need to realise is that although we may know what it is in theory…. ‘seeing it’ in practice is somewhat more difficult, largely because much of it is invisible.

So the issue then becomes what do managers do and where might culture come into it?
If we can determine what managers ‘do’, then we can cross-reference with culture to answer the above question.
