Water Tanker deliveries

I picture kids (mostly girls) & women

Walking miles, barefoot, heavy vases on heads

To bring life-sustaining water home

From 30ft deep holes in river courses

That haven’t been damp or wet

For season after season:

We still don’t know we’re born.

In some places far too much.

In others far too little.

 .

The same is true of water.

The same is true of food.

The same is true of money.

We have enough.

It’s just in the wrong places.

Overall we have enough,

More than enough even…

But we don’t share it.

Won’t share it.
